Are you interested in giving your time to help others? We have thousands of volunteer opportunities. Helping at the organizational level lowers our administrative expenses and maximizes program funding. Volunteering at the program level by giving your time to a GKUW-sponsored agency or taking part in a Day of Caring gives you the opportunity to witness the difference you’re making in the community. If you would like to volunteer your time to assist GKUW and our member agencies, please email information@gkuw.org or call (269) 343-2524 to learn about our opportunities.

United Way Volunteer Opportunity

Have you ever wondered how your GKUW invests donations to the annual campaign? Community members like you work in teams to learn about local services, review funding opportunities and make recommendations about how best to invest donations in programs that are positively impacting people’s lives. Would you like to participate in this process? The Greater Kalamazoo United Way is taking names of people interested in serving as volunteers for 2010-12.

Volunteers serve on a team addressing one of four community investment areas—physical and mental health, strengthening families and youth, increasing self-sufficiency, and strengthening community.

If you are interested in getting involved, please click on the link below, fill out the application and return it to egriffin@gkuw.org.
